Who we are

The Maharashtra Contractors Association website is an independent platform created and operated by Publig Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to channel the voices of affected contractors and support contractor-community building.

It is not a website of the Government of Maharashtra, any government department, court, payment authority or political party. The platform does not have power to approve, reject or compel payment of a government bill.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you submit information for a business or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. You must provide accurate and current information and must not impersonate another person.

Accounts and WhatsApp OTP verification

TenderWise’s backend system sends a WhatsApp OTP to verify control of the submitted phone number. OTP verification is not government identity verification and does not prove contractor registration, ownership of a business, work completion, bill approval or amount payable.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your phone and for notifying us if a verified number is no longer under your control. We may restrict, merge, correct or remove duplicate, suspicious or misleading accounts and submissions.

The required verification consent is limited to WhatsApp OTP delivery, mobile-number verification and necessary security records. It does not by itself create a separate TenderWise account or authorise promotional messages.

Acceptable use

You may use the platform to submit genuine contractor-community concerns, review public information, understand reported events and participate lawfully in community coordination.

You remain responsible for information you submit and for having the necessary right or authority to provide it.

You agree not to

• harass, threaten, defame or incite violence against any person or group;
• submit false identities, fabricated claims, stolen data, confidential third-party records or automated spam;
• attempt to break, bypass, reverse engineer, abusively scrape, disrupt or overload the website or its APIs;
• introduce malware, misuse OTP systems or attempt unauthorised access;
• use the platform to commit fraud, interfere with an investigation or violate applicable law;
• present a platform submission as official government verification or a payment order.

We may suspend access, remove material, preserve records or report conduct when reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance or enforcement of these Terms.

Content, third-party news and satire

The website may link to or display third-party news, YouTube videos, photographs, statements, allegations, commentary and satire. Such material belongs to its respective publisher or owner and may change, be removed, contain errors, or present disputed views. Links do not mean that we endorse every statement in the linked material.

Satirical artwork is commentary and must not be read as a literal factual record. Claims by contractors, associations, public officials, families or media reports may require independent verification.

When you submit content, you confirm that you are entitled to submit it and permit us to store, review and use it for operating the platform, contacting you, verifying the submission and preparing non-identifying community analysis. We will seek additional permission before publicly attributing a personal story, document, photograph or video to you unless publication was clearly requested and agreed.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and DPDP Notice explain personal-data processing and are part of these Terms. WhatsApp mobile verification through TenderWise’s backend is required to complete a pending-payment entry.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness of third-party news, correctness of user claims, government acceptance of a submission, recovery of money, or any particular advocacy outcome.

Information on the website is general community information, not legal, financial, tax, engineering or procurement advice. You should obtain appropriate professional advice for individual disputes, tenders, contracts, limitation periods and recovery proceedings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Publig Technologies and persons operating the platform will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on third-party content, user submissions, service interruption or unauthorised misuse beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update the website, these Terms or related policies when services, risks or legal requirements change. The updated page will show a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, account, SMS or another reasonable channel. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply to future use.
