Who controls your data

Publig Technologies Pvt. Ltd. operates this website and decides how personal data submitted through it is processed. References to “we”, “us” or “the platform” in this Policy mean Publig Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and the Maharashtra Contractors Association platform operated by it.

This platform is not a Government of Maharashtra website, a government department, a payment authority or a political party.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect:

• your name, role, GST or contractor-registration number and verified mobile number;
• OTP request and verification status, consent record, policy version, date and time;
• district, department, number of works, bill-pending date, total bill, received amount and calculated pending amount;
• information or supporting records you voluntarily provide later, such as work-order, bill or completion details;
• communications sent to us and privacy or grievance requests;
• basic technical and security information such as IP address, browser, device type, referral source, campaign parameters, timestamps and logs.

Please do not submit Aadhaar, bank credentials, passwords, unrelated family information or another person’s data unless we specifically request it through a secure process and you are legally authorised to provide it.

Why we collect it

We use personal data only for stated and lawful purposes, including to:

• send a WhatsApp OTP through the TenderWise verification system and verify that a submission is connected to a working mobile number;
• register and review pending-payment information;
• contact you for clarification, verification, community updates or grievance handling;
• understand aggregate contractor, subcontractor, supplier and labour-payment issues;
• prevent duplicate entries, fraud, impersonation, spam and misuse;
• maintain, secure and improve the website;
• comply with lawful requests and applicable legal obligations.

TenderWise verification system

TenderWise provides the backend system used to send the WhatsApp OTP and verify the mobile number submitted with your pending-payment entry. This verification is necessary to complete the form.

For this purpose, the system may process your mobile number, OTP request and verification status, time of verification, consent record and necessary security logs. This verification consent does not by itself authorise promotional WhatsApp messages or create a separate TenderWise account.

If TenderWise access, marketing messages or another product use is offered later, it will require a separate notice and consent where applicable.

How we store and protect data

We may store data on infrastructure operated for us by hosting, database, OTP, analytics, security, customer-support and communication providers. We use reasonable administrative, access-control and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the stated purpose, dispute or grievance handling, security, fraud prevention, legitimate record keeping or compliance with law. When the purpose is complete and retention is no longer required, we will delete or anonymise the data within a reasonable period.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data:

• with service providers processing data on our instructions for hosting, OTP, communications, analytics, security or support;
• within Publig Technologies products only for the purpose covered by your separate consent;
• with professional advisers where confidentiality applies;
• with law-enforcement, courts, regulators or public authorities when legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety;
• as aggregated or de-identified statistics that do not reasonably identify you.

Your individual bill information will not be represented as government-verified merely because it was submitted through the form.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to provide information about your data, correct or update it, erase it, withdraw a consent, or address a grievance. WhatsApp mobile verification is necessary to complete a pending-payment submission.

Send the verified mobile number concerned and a clear description of the request to hello@mahacontractors.in. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity before acting. Some information may be retained where required by law or necessary for an existing dispute, fraud-prevention record or legal claim.

Children

The account and pending-payment form are intended for persons aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly invite children to submit contractor-account or payment information.
