DPDP Notice
Last updated: 27 August 2026
This collection notice is provided by Publig Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for the Maharashtra Contractors Association platform. It is written with reference to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, as applicable and brought into force from time to time.
ही सूचना form भरण्यापूर्वी तुमच्याकडून कोणती माहिती घेतली जाते, ती कशासाठी वापरली जाते आणि consent कशी मागे घेता येईल हे सांगते.
01
Data Fiduciary and contact
Publig Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for personal data processed through this independent platform. Privacy and grievance contact: hello@mahacontractors.in.
02
Personal data proposed to be processed
We propose to process your name, selected role, GST or contractor-registration number, verified mobile number, OTP verification record, consent choices, policy version, district, department, work count, bill-pending date, total bill, amount received, pending amount, related communications and necessary technical or security logs.
03
Specified purposes
- accepting and reviewing your pending-payment submission;
- verifying your mobile number and reducing false or duplicate entries;
- contacting you about your submission, evidence, community coordination or grievances;
- preparing aggregate, non-identifying information about contractor-community concerns;
- security, fraud prevention, service operation and legal compliance.
Data that is not necessary for these purposes should not be submitted.
04
Consent and WhatsApp OTP
TenderWise’s backend system sends the WhatsApp OTP used to verify control of the submitted mobile number. OTP verification does not by itself prove your identity, contractor status, work completion, bill amount or entitlement to payment.
Before final submission, you must take a clear affirmative action accepting the platform’s Privacy Policy, this Notice and Terms, and consenting to the required WhatsApp OTP verification. The platform should record the applicable notice version, consent selection and verification event so that the consent can be demonstrated where required.
05
TenderWise verification purpose
The required TenderWise consent is limited to using its backend for sending the WhatsApp OTP, verifying the mobile number and maintaining necessary verification and security records.
It does not by itself create a separate TenderWise account or authorise promotional messages. Any later product access or marketing purpose will require an appropriate separate notice and consent where applicable.
06
Withdrawal and consequences
You may withdraw a consent through hello@mahacontractors.in. We will stop consent-based processing within a reasonable time, subject to processing or retention required or authorised by applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of processing already completed before withdrawal.
If you withdraw consent needed for WhatsApp mobile verification before submission is complete, we may be unable to accept or maintain that submission. Existing verification and security records may be retained where lawfully necessary.
07
Access, correction, erasure and grievance
You may request a summary of personal data being processed, correction or updating of inaccurate information, erasure where applicable, and grievance redressal. We may verify the requester before acting. Email hello@mahacontractors.in with the subject “DPDP Request”.
If your grievance is not resolved through our grievance process, you may use remedies available under applicable data-protection law, including approaching the Data Protection Board of India when the relevant mechanism is available and applicable.
08
Processors, security and retention
Authorised providers may process data on our instructions for hosting, OTP, communications, analytics, support and security. We apply reasonable safeguards and limit access according to operational need. We retain data only for the stated purpose and permitted legal, security, dispute or record-keeping needs, after which it will be deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.
09
Important distinction
This platform channels community concerns. Submission, OTP verification or publication on this platform does not amount to authentication by a government department, confirmation of debt, legal representation, or a promise that any bill will be paid.
